Long story short, I have a 1999 Stratus 2.4, and unfortunately the engine is now pretty much screwed. However, trying to stay positive, I came up with the brilliant idea to get a 2.4 turbo engine and ECU from a SRT4 Neon and put that in. Is there a reason why this wouldn’t work? I know that I would need to mod the exhaust, install an intercooler and probably mod the wiring, but other than that, this should work. Right? As far as I know, the engine should bolt to the transmission just fine and the mounts should line up, since AFAIK the block is the same. Is there a reason why this wouldn’t work?
