I have a 2006 dodge stratus SXT. A couple days ago, the instrument panel lights and the temp control gage lights all went out. Heat and everything still works. Speedometer, odometer, and tachometer all work just fine. Is there a fuse that may have gone out. About a week and a half ago, I installed a new stereo, but doubt that's the problem.

 

I think the stereo install could be the problem. Check the fuses. Owners manual or the fuse box cover should have the fuses listed. If not, google is a great resource.
