I am helping my aunt with her 98 Stratus V6. It may need a PCM. I would like to know which year PCMs and which part numbers will work. I read about some cars coming equipped with anti theft systems that complicates this issue. I do not know if this car has any security system like SKIM. It does have a black key and no keyless entry transmitter ever came with the car.

Hopefully there is a simple plug and play option which is widely available.

The PCM in there now is #04745860 followed by numbers 64490 and 12

 

Guys, I am just trying to keep another Stratus on the road . If we don't help each other, these cars will just end up in the junk yard.
