Default 1999 Dodge Stratus Advice Please

Hello thanks for looking at my thread I have a 1999 Dodge Stratus ES 88,300 Miles. Nice interior This has been a really nice car for my wife and I we got it Four years ago. Right Now I am asking for advice about what to do. I recently replaced the Blower motor Myself . I had a really bad time of it with some alignment problems but that is a really long story and I am wanting advice on what to do Now the Car Engine the V6 2.5 normally runs Great but when I was at car parts store getting the Blower motor the Car started but ran RUFF I was afraid I would not make it home But as I was driving home 3 miles away the engine started to run normal again. Car Engine ran good for about a week then I was pulling out of my drive way and engine stalled and would not start We got it to the curb and parked it there it has been 2 days now and the car started and ran normal but I am afraid if I drive somewhere it might stall while driving or maybe not start after I park. I do not know of any trustworthy Mechanics I called Dodge here and They said $144.00 Diagnostic next week I called a local mechanic and he said he can not do anything unless car not running I am not able to work on cars myself except for oil change and maybe change brake pads What should I do any Suggestions? Thanks you very much

If the check engine light is on, you can borrow a scanner from your local auto part store and that will give you and us some more info.
