Default Parasitic Battery Drain

Vehicle Make: Dodge
Vehicle Model: Stratus
Vehicle Trim: SXT
Vehicle Engine: 2.4 L
Vehicle Mileage: 110,000+

Sporadically, the above listed vehicle has experienced a 'dead battery' issue over the years. Today, we believe this is a result of a worsening 'parasitic drain/draw' issue? We've attempted to conduct a 'parasitic drain/draw test' with few results. The multimeter constantly shows a "1" on the screen which means the draw is larger than its 20 AMP capacity.

We've also attempted to conduct a diode test on the alternator using a multimeter with a diode setting. Does anyone know what reading one should get? I've looked all over the Internet and got varying answers. One site said around 0.4 V is the norm. Another suggested 0.25 V. My vehicle pulls 0.93V. Another alternator I have and used as a comparison pulls 1.17 V. If it is a diode, then it is likely intermittent as the battery does not always drain in days, overnight or in minutes. I'm just hoping to fix the issue ASAP without having to make another trip to the dealer or repair shop. With all of the tools they have, we're doing too much guessing.
