I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus SXT coupe 2.4 SOHC. This may be hard to follow , but here's my issues. I unlock the door with my keyless remote , when I open the door the alarm goes off. If I use the power lock button and lock the door and then unlock quickly the alarm stops. I then try to start the car and get crank with occasional puffs and pops. This problem was occasionally at first , but now the car sits because it wont start at all now. I love the car , it runs great ( when it starts ) and gets great fuel mileage. Any help with a direction to turn would be greatly appreciated. It has been suggested that I may need a new PCM.
