Can't Complete Registration Because Of P0401 & P0507
Hello,
I'm so frustrated with my car. I have a 2001 Stratus RT Coupe 3.0. I've never been in this situation with not being able to complete my registration because I can't take it to get it smogged because of codes P0401 & P0507 that keep popping up. So far it's had the following replaced: Idle Air Control Valve, Manifold Pressure Sensor, EGR Valve, Vacuum Switching Valve Solenoid. The air filter & the little oxygen sensor have been cleaned properly & the negative battery clamp has been replaced. I actually drove it 105 miles & thought I was good to go get it smog tested & the light went back on! It was P0401. I cleared it with my little code tester & 11 miles later the light went back on with P0507. It seems odd to me that P0401 wasn't there because this code is the one that shows up the most. I don't know what else to do & since I have very little help available I find myself hopeful someone here might have some helpful insight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
