If you reverse going faster than like 2mph then go to put it in drive it doesn't want to shift unless you put it in park and shut it off for a second. Even still if I don't reverse when it's cold it hesitates going into second until it's warm. I changed filter and fluid. Fluid didn't smell burnt. It actually looked surprisingly good for 180k mile car. And it was nice and red. Now I'm about to purchase a shift solenoid pack and was wondering if that could even be an issue if there are no check engine lights on or codes. Only engine light that comes on sometimes is for the fuel cap im pretty sure. But that only comes on sometimes and has nothing to do with how it shifts .
