I have a 2006 dodge stratus 2.7 engine. Two nights ago I noticed a slight sputter while driving but it wasnt bad. Last night I was driving home and it died at a red light. I called for a tow truck but before the truck got there, it started up again. I managed to drive it home with it wanting to die at every light. I got in the driveway where it died again. The car has never given me any issues before and Ive always had it serviced religiously. I did notice a low coolant level and had to add antifreeze. No engine light, no code to check however. I just do not know where to start looking and i really do not want to just start throwing parts at it blindly... Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this. .
Update: The car sat overnight and started immediately and ran goof until the engine warmed up, then it started sputtering again and died. It started again but I had to turn it over a lot and it sputtered the whole time. Seems like...if i let it sit and the engine go cold...it performs normally. .
