Default 95 strat tranny troubles

Ok here is the deal. I have a 1995 dodge stratus es with the 2.5l v6 and auto trans. here is the problem, when it is cold outside the tranny works great no problems. But when it gets warm outside and the engine gets warm the trans mission will work correctly on the highway but if I am in town it freaks out and goes into 2nd gear and wont shift ya know the creep home mode. If I let the car cool off the trans works, or sometimes if I shut the motor off and restart it will work... The check engine light nevercomes either weird stuff i love the just need to get my tranny working before the summer gets here....

Thanks

95 Stratus tranny woes.

Hello, Have you ever got this problem figured out yet? We are having THE EXACT same problems with a little more thrown in just to make us a little more irrated. I was told it may be the TCM (transmission Computer module???) Ours is at the dealership now getting looked at and more than likely costing us a helluvalot of $$ which we don't have. We were at ours wits end and this was a last resort. I took it in abd a friend of a friend told me about the TCM. I feel like I have got toget my car back from te dealer now and let this friend look at it for me. I hope you got the problem fixed and if so, can you share the solution with us?

Thanks,

Louis
