My roommate took her strat to get aligned, and goodyear said that her inner and outer tie rods were bad. Tried to replace inner, and can't get them off of the rack! Is there something I'm missing? The joint is rounded, but not because it's stripped...anyone have any suggestions? No cotter pin, inner tie rod tool won't work, tried drilling hole and tapping it, but nothing is working. Are they pressed onto the rack or are they threaded? I can't find any info on this subject ANYWHERE. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
