Default Replacing rotors and pads

I'm going to replace my rotors and pads. This will be my first time doing this. I am asking for recommendations on what to buy. I look online at auto zone or advance auto parts and there are too many to choose from. I live in the north country and have an '01 sedan with a 2.7 V6. I would prefer something that works better when it is raining out. Thanks for your opinions.

I went with the slotted crossdrilled rotors from ebay, and raebestos ceramic pads. There is virtually no brake dust, and I drive my '02 r/t all year in Michigan, so lost of rain and snow and I have no complaints.
