Default Sunroof opening prob.

Like it says my sunroof is having trouble openening its getting stuck or something when i want to open it, i will press the button to open it up and it will budge just a lil bit but never fully open like its suppose to. Is anyone else having this problem and what can i do to fix it? I've already replaced the fuse for the sunroof so i know its not that, please help.

That's All Ive heard of so far. Seems a good cleaning and re-grease fixes it most of the time.

I have the same problem with mine. All it takes is a gental push towards the rear of the sunroof, a minor inconveniance yes, but worth a day of semi-open air driving.

Sorry, haven’t done it myself. It is just what I read from all the "sticky/ stuttering sunroof" posts.

Getting someone to operate it while you watch the assembly first might be a good idea. I also seem to recall it uses white lithium grease, although once it is clean you could even consider using molybdenum. (Except it is dark colored)

I couldnt find a grease recomendation in the service manual, although I bet it is there somewhere... sorry
