Brakes squeaking, driving me mad!
Hello everyone!
I have a 2004 Stratus V6 SE. My brakes are driving me nuts! There is a loud squeaking noise coming from the outside of the car when I depress the brake. This happens whether I am moving or not. My dealership keeps telling me that its the brake pedal itself, but if I crawl into the footspace and press the brake with my hand, I do not hear this noise coming from inside the car.
I hope someone can give me some ideas!!!
Thanks!

yes it does it when I am not moving. Both Calipers have been replaced by the dealership a few months ago. i'm not sure if thats when the noise started or not. I'll try bleeding the brakes i guess. Is this easy to do myself?
If i listen down by the pedal, it does not sound like its coming from the other side of the firewall (i.e the engine bay). i'll grab someone, have then depress the pedal and see if i can locate the noise a little better.
