Default 1/4 mile times Bone stock

Anyone post better 1/4 mile ET's or trap speed bone stock on stock tires the the factory specs. I have personally posted times about .2 faster in my strat then a 15.4 alleged by dodge and I know guys are getting time .5 sec faster.

It just seems the factory times are made a little slow so lame asses wont cray that they can't post the times as advertised.

im not sure what you mean? the "Stock times" that i have seen for a 5-speed RT is generally around 15.7...i do know that alot of guys have gone faster with things like intake, exhaust, mounts, tires, shifter, etc...figure, with just tires, catback, intake, and mounts, im running 16 flat with an automatic...the advertised time for my car is something like 16.7...and honestly, my minor mods dont add that much power.

It just seems like guys are posting better times then advertised so I was wondering if the auto makers post slower times intentionally.

i always do it in 1st gear....and those burnout shots are with solid mounts, and 15 inch track tires...it will smoke the 17s, but you need a nice surface, like in a burnout box...or blacktop..and youll need some water...

but i love my solid mounts...

i replaced my front and rear, and it fixed the squeak, unless its under 55 degrees...then until the engine bay gets warm, it will do it a bit...so it must be the drivers side, but that one looks like a REAL pain to change
