I am having an odd brake problem. The pedal is going almost all the way to the floor. But it does not happen all the time. Just 75% of the time. Closer to most then not. This just started happening after I replaced my water pump. Ya.. I know.. no connection. But I did have to pull out the ABS module to do this job. I did not unplug it. Just pulled it out of the way.

This what I have checked: No lights come on when I push pedal to the floor. The reservoir is full. There are no leaks on the ground or at any wheel. The ABS lights comes on when can is started. So the bulb is ok. I pull the e-brake and the brake like comes on, okay too.

Any history of brake problems any one knows about?

 

Step number one: Bleed your entire system. Be aware that there is a spacific step by step procedure for most cars with ABS.

I'd give it a 90% chance of fixing your problem.

If you unplugged the ABS module, chances are everythings fubar'd. Like B_52 stated, bleed the system. I'd even go so far as to suggest doing a complete purge and refill. That should fix your problem.
