My wifes 98 Stratus has "out of control" door locks. They keep trying to lock even after they have locked automatically.

The dome light also comes on while driving and the "chime" inside the car goes off too.

Anyone know how to fix this???? Where to look?

 

Hey guys, this is my first post. I actually just joined because I’m picking up my first dodge this weekend!! Came here to ask this exact same question... My aunt tells me that the locks on the car are going a bit crazy, and the dome lights are doing what ever they want, and that the back window won’t roll down either, and the alarm is a bit outta wack, and goes off when ever it wants. So what causes this? Is this a bad relay, huge problem or something easy to fix??? It’s a 2000 Stratus ES that I’m getting for free...

If someone else is having the same issue, guess this is something that happens a lot??
