Default The " rare sports coupe"

My dad bought an 05 sxt coupe a couple months ago. its an mtx and is really fun to drive. The thing is i have the only one in town and barely see the 03-05 stratus coupes anywhere. i get way more looks in that car then the srt4 and its been called many things by random people such as charger or even a mustang. why does nobody have them on long island are they popular in other places? majority of people i know havent even seen them.

I've seen about 2 dozen Stratus coupes in my area....but only about 8 R/T's....most of which have been either that burgundy red color or the pearl white that I have. I've seen one black one.

Believe it or not, I see a boat load of the Sebring coupes in my area...so that may be why I dont see a whole lot of the Strats.

I've gotten the same questions regarding the car myself. Had people ask me if it was a Camaro, a GTO, and even an Eclipse. It's a really nice car, but its a shame that its not as fast as it looks. I love mine, its just gonna need a lil more bite for its bark....

yea exactly even though it is the 4 cylinder it can use more power and for the r/t they should have put 250-300 hp to go with the looks and be competion to the gt mustangs.

Yeah, the 4 cyl motor is the same motor thats in the SRT-4 Neon....just not as built up....and the R/T's V6 3.0L has 200hp....which it should have gotten around the 250-300hp like you stated....even 250 would have been a bit nicer....

It's still a solid car though, and I can honestly say I love driving it. It has plenty of room for me...and I dont feel like a sardine in it...

I have been in the area i am living now since last Oct. in that time i think i have only seen about 6-8 strat coupes and i think about 4 of them were R/Ts. i have seen one red, the others were black and white i think. im am pretty sure i have the only silver one in the area. i would have to say that i think the Gun metal color on the R/T looks the best. i have only actually seen on in person and i just freaking love the thing.

An extra 50 HP or so would be great that’s actually why i am really thinking about putting headers on mine just go get a lil extra without really killing my mpg. i really do like the 27 mpg city 30mpg hw

i completely agree, I’m a bigger guy about 6ft 4 and back when i was searching around for a car this is really one of the few that i didn’t feel extremely cramped in. which has really turned out for the best b/c i drive a lot more now than i had expected when i bought it.

Yeah, the car does get pretty great gas mileage all things considered. I took mine on a road trip and the total trip was 351 miles...and I still had a 1/4 tank of gas left. Was really, really nice.

I'm 6'2" but I also wear a size 15/16 shoe, so it makes it hard for me to drive alot of smaller cars due to the lack of foot room under the dash/space limitations where the pedals are. It makes it difficult to shift/drive when your foot touches both pedals all the time. I was very impressed with the Stratus coupe, as it looks much smaller then it is. I sit very comfortably in it, and the only real complaint about the car that I have is the whole window issue with the water leaking down into the doors....which is common on all the Stratus coupes. Beyond that, I enjoy driving it and even though its lowered it still rides pretty well. The new wheels and tires help too

I wasnt sure of the exact times in that post....that's why I posted that. I know it's a quick little car....but I know there aint no 84 Dodge Ram gonna do 0-60 faster then my car.....not without alot of HP and nitro...

I See a lot of the R/T sedens, mostly marroon and black, in my area, Southern New Hampshire. Only coupe R/T's I've seen around. Two black ones, One Silver, Two Red, and Mine the only light Blue.
