I have just recently had a problem with my R/T. It just happens I am 4 months out of my bumper to bumper warranty. Everytime I attempt to accelerate while going uphill, the car shifts very hard from fourth to third. I am not smashing on it or anything, I am just gradually trying to accelerate the car. On flat ground, this is not a problem. I have checked the transmission fluid and it is fine. Anyone else encounter this and can you tell me if it is a powertrain problem?

 

interesting...ive not heard of that problem before...so how many miles do you have on it? have you ever had the trans serviced, like a power flush?

 

33000 miles and I have not had it flushed, yet.

 

i would recommend that. i have not had a similar issue, but i have had my trans flushed a few times now.

did you not get the 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty?
