hey all,new to the forum..............i own an f 150 pickup so not real used to a dodge engine other than i cant slide under it to take a look at anything.....heh anyway my gf has an '00 stratus sedan and its leaking oil from i dont kow where but its coming down off the side of the pan and onto the drain bolt and dripping off that.........im not thinking its also coming out of the bolt,but what im wondering is there any type of gasket between the pan and the engine?i THINK thats where its comig from but i dont know......gonna take it to my mech this weekend,im jus wondering if anyone might know where the oils comin from.......thanks

 

hard to tell without pic's. just like most engines, leaks from the valve cover and oil pan most likely. hose it down with degreaser and take a look. does it go through oil or is it just ugly?
