A While back, in Febuary or so, I had just got off of work and all of a sudden...BAM!!! I heard the worst sound in the world. My transmission destroying itself lol. It was the worst. So....Pulling out of the parking lot I noticed nothing....but when I got out and onto the high way....no shifting at all. I had to drive the stratus home at 4500 RPM all the way home only doing about....35 or so lol. Which sucked completly. I got home and me and my dad discussed it since we are both transmission specialist as well as engines. So...we called our tow truck driver the next morning and I had it sent to the shop which is about 45 minutes away. It took me a week to get up there since I still had alot of school. So I got there on a Friday morning, I decided to miss a day of school to prepare for this long weekend. I got there and I had to get the cars off the lift, but before I could get mine up, I had to repair a few other cars tranny's and the weird part was they were all Dodges and Chryslers ( a breeze, a sebring, and a stratus.) So once that was all complete, I got my car on about 2000 hours ( 8 pm civilian time ) So I pulled the old transmission out and I began to look at the new one. I decided to put some aftermarket valves and springs in and I wanted to see what me and my dad could do. We had to go deep into the new transmission, to replace the stock valves and springs with aftermarket valves and springs. Then afterwards, I decided to pretty the transmission up. Since the transmission can be seen behind the tires and rims I thought it would look nice. So Here are some pics of it. It runs very nice, currently I have the torque converter and LSD on hold. They are at the shop but, I just need the time to install them. To finish the story, once it was finished we decided to take it on a test drive....all went well about the first mile and then I could see a lose in voltage...so we took it back...and the freakin coil pack went out...which sucked. So we came back the next morning ordered the coil picked it up, installed it, and then drove her on home. But like I said before heres the pics.....I also put a picture of my valve cover since It was done at around the same time.
