I recently bought a 1998 Stratus ES for my 16 year old daughter. Nice car blah blah blah. However I've realized that you can't select air to recirc or be brought in from outside the car. The switch is just sort of stuck in the middle. Any suggestions? You can move it, however it has alot of resistance and returns to the middle (halfway between recirc and outside air) when you let it go. Any suggestions on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

 

Hello,It looks like your control is electronic,but there are two cables that control the blend doors,they are one for recirculation and the other temperature. The control is about 100 and the cables are about 11 bucks apiece
