02 Stratus Blower Motor
I am having problems with my air conditioner/blower motor. I blew a fuse to my blower motor a few weeks ago and it worked fine for a while. Now, when I turn on the air/heat, nothing comes out. Does anyone know the cost for a new blower motor or could it possibly be something else? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hey, you might check your blower motor regulator. If they haven't changed in a few years should be right under the dash on the passenger side. Might be a wire harness with two plugs that go into it. I have a '95 Cirrus POS and that is where it is on mine. Dealer only wanted like $9.00 for a new one. Check it out. If not sure where to find it call the dealer and ask them. It's real easy to change. 2 plugs and 3 bolts on mine. L8er
An '02 Stratus uses a blower resistor (Transistor) for the lower speeds and a seperate blower relay for High speed
If the fuse is good and the blower does not work at any speed it's probably the blower motor
use a test light to make sure your getting power to the blower motor.... or...... lightly tap on it with a hammer to see if it comes on!!
If it is the blower motor they are EASY to change if you like standing on your head working left handed!!!
