Hi everyone- I'm a first-time owner of a 00 Stratus. I bought it used & no owners manual. Yesterday I took a short drive to the store, parked, shut the car off as usual. When I returned there was a round flashing red light on the rightsde dashboard. I can put the key in the ingintion and the car will start, but the horn starts beeping and the headlights are flashing. This will go on for several minutes then stop. I can't figure it out, can someone help?

 

if it's a factory alarm, try unlocking the trunk or pass side door first. this will most likely turn off the alarm. if it's an aftermarket alarm you could try finding the fuse and pull it. try a local stero installer in your area if your lost. good luck.

 

Right on, tomthedog! I used the key to unlock pass side door and the alarm stopped. Thanks for the help.
