I've got a '97 Stratus 2.4L and I've noticed my fuel economy has dropped significantly in the last few months. There is no A/C installed, and I've replaced my plugs and air filter, as well as my 2 front wheel bearing and hub assembies, but no improvement.

If anyone has any similar experience or any suggestions as to what else may be the cause, I'd love to hear from them. This is starting to get expensive....

Have you solved this problem ? With my '97 stratus I have the same problem.

 

How many miles on the vehicle?

Possibly a failing oxygen sensor....... does it show any codes?
