I just bought a 2000 stratus with 60000 miles. It runs Excellent but heres my problem---- once I got home I realized the interior lights dont work, then I find out the instrument cluster lights do not work (but after driving for 20 min. they come on magically, not all the time but sometimes), Then I find out my horn doesn't work. I look at the fuse panel and the interior light fuse, horn fuse and headlight delay fuses are pulled out. I put them in and they all seem to work great until I start the car then they start blinking. My car does have an aftermarket alarm, were there alarms factory installed and what about the dash lights. I'm pretty car fluent but this is just pissing me off!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

my 02 4dr dash lights flicker a bit with the blinker (not all the time). try adj the dimmer **** thats on the the blinker switch to see if there is a change. might need a new switch assy.

 

seems like a short. check the wiring and check for loose grounds. check the tension on the altinator belt.

 

Check the alternator belt only if the problem happens with the engine running. If you have the ignition in the "run' position without the engine running and the problem still happens then it's obviously not the alternator. Check all scenarios (key in, etc.)

 

I have the same problem and it just started a couple of days ago what the hell is it
