When I crank my car the engine acts like it wants to shut off and then its normal again. It only happens for a few seconds. Anyone experienced this or have any clues as to what it could be?

I am having a similar issue with our 05 R/T. now that it is cooling off considerably in Montana, we are noticing that once started in th morning chill, the mototr stumbles wuite a bit until it warms up a bit. Where could this issue be coming from and what can I do to remedy this?

 

if you have not already, make sure the spark plugs are in good shape. you can try brushing them off with a wire brush (BBQ grill brush works) to get the soot off. try putting di-electric (spelling?) on the plugs/plug wires (both ends) for better conduction. check the connections to/from coil pack. checl the air filter and general tune-up stuff. try leaving the key to "on" just before start to let the fuel pump build up press for a few seconds before starting. good luck.
