ATTENTION!!!
I recently 4or 5mths ago posted a Stratus problem my girlfriend was having with her car. It is a 2003 Stratus with 88k miles. It has had 6 ignition coils replaced ($600), a computer board ($1000) and now most recently the timing belt ($500). That is simply unacceptable for a car that new and with that few of miles on it. It is a standard transmission and wouldn't think you would have a problem one with it being that new. That car has cost her literally thousands. She has missed work because of it and is in danger of losing her job because of it. The symtoms are always the same. It runs fine then it rains and starts spitting and sputtering. The stealer ship (dealer ship) has had it in and worked on it 4 times in the last month. Each time charging the **** out of her and the problem reappears the next time it rains.......and it rains plenty here in Michigan. She is selling the car now so.............good riddens. Shame on you Chrysler for making such a piece of JUNK!!!!

If your having problems, and the dealership isnt fixing the issue....why continue going to the same dealership? I'd try another dealership or at the very least, I'd go in and throw one hell of a serious temper tantrum with the GM......having the car in 4 times for the same issue is UNACCEPTABLE by any means....
Did most of what you said. Went back to the same dealer cause they were the ones that had it last and figured they would have log of the on going problem with it. Another dealer or shop is going to be looking at it for the first time and certainly would not stand behind someone elses work. ....LOL We did see the GM (Kand M Northfeild dodge) and they knocked something off the bill........not much..........and yes........88k is just a few miles in my book. I buy vehicles with over a 100k on them and never have problems like this.......!!!!
Well I dont know alot about cars and the BBB but have you gotten info on that specific dealer from the BBB see if they have any other reported issues simular to this? I agree 88k is a few miles!! But an 03 wit 83 is kinda alot just depends what the car is for!! You should g to the previous owner get any info they can give you!!
Dont judge chrysler products based on one car. If it only happens when it rains then it is mostly water getting somwhere it shouldn't. have they looked for any leaks or gaps where water can get in?
I have had plent of dodge cars and they did reall good. i had one real close to 200k, until i totaled it running a red!
