How long does it take to clear codes on my Breeze
My 97 Breeze 2.4 Auto's check engine light just went on a few hrs after refueling. Determained that my gas cap wasn't tight enough so I gave it a quarter turn. How long does it take before my check engine light turns off?

Just go out and unhook your negative terminal on your battery. Wait about 15-30 minutes and it will clear the codes. I know on Neons you can also pull the fuel pump fuse for the same amount of time and it will clear it as well. If not I heard it will clear in about 30 key cycles.
