I have a 2000 stratus, I need a new engine, am having trouble locating a 2.4L locally but they have a couple of 2.5L 6 cylinder engines. Does anyone know if I can swap out the old 2.4L with the 2.5L. And if so, would there be alot of modifications needed? Thanks in advance.

 

Keep in mind that there are 2 different 2.4L's found in Stratus'. The Stratus sedan has the 2.4L made by Dodge, while the Stratus coupe is completely built by Mitsubishi.
