Hey Guys i'm just wondering when and if we should change our fluid in our auto. trannys... both have less than 30,000 on them. so when the times comes (i think its every 30,000?) should i change it?

 

well, the easiest way to check and see if it needs changing is by the color. if its real dark red, or burnt smelling. when the fluid is new its a lighter red. other than that it will last longer than you think. just keep an eye on it.

 

it's recommended that you do a trans service at 60k, it's unnecessary to do it any sooner
