Default Disconnecting battery on '99

Hey all,

I need to clear the codes on my 99 Stratus 2.4L DOHC, and I was told to disconnect the battery. Well, the battery on these is actually behind the front left wheel well, with terminals that run up to under the hood for boosting. How do you disconnect the battery on these in order to clear the codes????

just pull the pcm/fuel pump fuse overnight, lots simpler. car might run rough for a bit till it gets back online, hope it helps, good lock.

How do I disconnect the negative terminal though? The battery is actually behind the front wheel, it is not under the hood. Will it suffice to just undo the negative terminal that's meant for the booster cables?
