Default trunk lock out please help!!!!!

I was putting my sub box back into my trunk, and pushed down that little lockout lever that disengages the handle to open the trukn from inside the car. The key I have only works for the ignition so I need to know what I can do to get my trunk open. I could have a key made, but it is 65 dollars and the guy doesnt gaurentee that it will open the trunk, will it open the trunk or not? Thanks
Jim

Is the 65 dollars asked for from a dealership? A dealership should NOT cost that much and it would be for certain to work because they can get the key code from Chrysler. Just bring proof of ownership of the car along with you.

the only way it should cost 65 buck, even from a dealer, is i it is for a chip key, to open the trunk, you should be able to go to a locksmith and have them open it, then have them make a key to match the tumblers. that is a very elaborate way to fix it, but even that shouldnt cost 65 bucks.
