Once I pick up a little speed in my 96 Stratus, a really annoying wirling noise starts eminating from my front left tire. It's really starting to give me a headache! What could it be, and how do I rid myself of this nuisance. I thought it might be the brakes, so I had them changed. The rotors were in good condition. It's not really a metal on metal sound, just a "woo woo woo woo woo woo" sound.

 

It's probably the Wheel bearing. Thats what my problem was. On the stratus though its not just the wheel bearing its the entire hub assembly, but that was the problem for me. It was not that hard to fix, and the assembly was about 70 dollars new. I hope this helps you.
