i was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where to run an amp power wire through the firewall on an 02 stratus r/t? any help would be great.

 

I have an 03 R/T and the only way I got the amp wire was having my friend drill a hole from the inside next to the clutch. He had to be careful enough not to hit the power steering and the brake cylinder. Luckly he got it right.

 

I ran it through the fender, alongside the wiring harness that comes out just above the drivers side kick panel. You have to remove the wheel and fender liner to do this properly. And secure the amp power wire to the stock harness running through there with LOTS of zip ties. One every 3-4 inches is best to keep the wire from moving and wearing a hole in the insulation. You'll also need to cut a hole large enough to fit the wire through in the large grommet coming into the passenger compartment. Also, its rather difficult getting the wire past the rear seat and into the trunk. I just tucked it under the rear side panel and fished it below the seat and under the carpeting into the trunk. Looks a lot cleaner, and i didnt have to remove that panel. Good luck and just take your time.
