I have a 2004 2.4lt with approx. 75,000 miles. There is a whining noise coming from the engine and can be heard loudest on the driver's side. It starts when you hit about 30mph accelerating and will stop about the same place when slowing down. Has anyone else had the same problem and is this something a dealer needs to fix or can I do it at home? Thanks for any and all suggestions.
