Stratus Brake Life

Stratus Brake Life
I have a 2006 Stratus with 27,000 (80% highway) miles on it and the brakes are already squealing. Wondering what kind of life you guys are getting out of your Stratus brakes.
My Dodge truck got 56,000 and I have a Firebird Formula that only got about 15,000 per setno matter what kind I put on it.
30,000 seems to be the norm for many cars, but what are you guys getting?
Also, any input on the brand/type of brakes to put on the Stratus?

I had a 97 Formula WS6. When I sold it the car has just under 40K, still was on the original pads, front and rear.
Have you taken your wheels off and inspected the brakes? Squealing does not necessarily mean they need replaced.
