Default Rear End

Hi, I am endeavouring to make a hybrid IFS Dana 44 diff for an off road racer. I was hoping some of you Viper enthusiasts can help me out with a bit of info. Has the Viper Dana 44 diff ever had flat flanges on the end of its diff axles, as opposed to a universal joint yoke? I am after a short Dana 44 axle with a flat flange for my project and thought of the Viper. Hope you guys can help. All the best.......erniech

We designed and install numerous Quaife diffs in the Viper.
The Gen 1 and Gen 2 are Dana 44 HD diffs and have U-Joint style male stub axles .
TheGen 3 is a wider Hydra-lock type diff that has female CV stub flanges.

There is a company that makes a conversion CV stub for the GEN1 & 2 ,But I can not remember who...Maybe Mark Williams.

Hey erniech, why a 44? IFS GM 4x diff's would seem to be a good option for what you describe.
