can anybody help
i have a 94' rt/10 that i recently purchased that have no cats on the exaust. it runs good for approx. 15-20 minutes but cuts off after that. if i let it sit for a few minutes it will start & run. the longer i let it sit & cool the further it will go. i was told that the icm is probably getting to hot. would the cats keep the engine compartment cooler or is it just a bad icm? i'd hate to buy a new icm if it's not the problem, because the car only has 7600 miles on it. if anyone has had a simular experience any help would be greatly apreciated.
Well having no cats will keep the side sills MUCH cooler. Cats were located in the side sill. Also, having not cats makes for a smelling ride in a RT
Having no cats should have nothing to do with it cutting off. When it cuts off will it turn over and just not fire or will it just click or nothing? Any lights on the dash?

when it cuts off the engine will turn over but won't start until the car has cooled down for a few moments. then it will run for a short period of time(the longer it cools the further it will go before it shuts off again). thanks rick
Wow, never heard that one before, but since it happens on demand you probably should start by determining if it is fuel or spark, probably spark, which would be much harder to figure out. Get it to the point where it will not fire, pull a plug wire, have someone hold a screw driver right by the metal part of the plug wire (make sure to wear a rubber glove) and turn it over. If it sparks then it probably is fuel, if not, well good god, could be anything electrical
If you do get spark I would bet fuel delivery, pump issue (most likely) or vapor lock in the fuel line.
