Default Future of the Viper?

http://www.autolinedetroit.tv/show/1215

After being bored till she was asked a question about the Viper. She avoided saying anything. She was asked a question. Rumors are that you are dropping the Viper, why keep the Challenger and not a Viper? Even though she did not answer the question this is what she said. There are alot of rumors everywhere. She wanted to talk about productive things. Instead of what could and could not go. She did say a good thing about the VCA. They are the most passionate dedicated group she has ever met and we love them. Then changed the subject to talk about the Journey. So basically they havent made a decision yet.[sm=popcorn.gif]

Why keep the Challenger and not the Viper? Not sure I understand that question/logic.

I will go on the record, no new model Viper will be built (No GEN V if the 08 is a GEN IV). They may offer something "special" in the last year, like a SC or limited edition.

I said be before, if the Viper does go away it will be replaced with something. Probably a more affordable (60-70) V8 powered car. Maybe a Barracuda or Road Runner

It's just a shame the look and name would be leaving. There is no sexier car in all of the world...

Gentlemen, I can't see the Viper past Gen 4 either. It seems they went over the top with this new Gen, which may indicate an end of production. They simply can't keep production going simply for the VCA or ViperAlley.

He means the Viper > Challenger. A V8 cant replace a V10.

Sure it can, but not in a Viper, without a V10 it can not be a Viper.

The arguement a V8 is not as good as a V10 is just insane. This also sounds much better, of course that is opinion.

or

630HP all motor. http://www.lingenfelter.com/LS7IDLE4MG.mpg People who say the new 427 is maxed out and not upgradeable are just uneducated.

And, if it has to be Mopar, how about some CID. http://www.jimsautoparts.com/mopar_p...ce_engines.htm
