Does any actually OWN a Viper here?
Luck was with me again, I had to drive this one around for several days over the last 3 weeks . Got to put about 100 miles or more on it.
But anyway, here are 3 pics of it, its gone now, sold it for $58,000... its a 2000.
I put the stripes on it(one of the many things I do to make money), they are vinyl "sticker" or decal, whatever you want to call them, not painted on.

Viper and Ram here.....
-Matt-
Personally I have the opinion that Hennessey is a crook...
I know several people that have taken their Vipers there that have had all kinds of issues, I will go into a couple.
One guy I know took his Viper in for an engine upgrade, took Hennessey several months but he finally got his car back... a couple months or so later he got a call from the Houston Sherriff's dept. They asked him to come claim his motor from them, he was like "What are you talking about, my Viper is sitting right here in my garage?" They told him that they ran the VIN on the "stolen" motor they had confiscated and it traced back to him! Hennessey didnt rebuild or modify the guys engine, he had taken an already built and already used hopped up motor and put it into his car. That isnt good.
Second guy I know had taken his car there to have his engine souped up(and only the engine) and it was there for months, he kept calling and calling wanting to know when he was going to get his Viper back... after several months went by, finally giving up he called the sherriffs dept to go with him to collect his car, when he got there Hennessey couldnt find his hood(obviously he had sold it or used it for another customer's Viper) so the cops made him take a hood off another customers Viper so he would have one. He then found out that his rear-end had been taken off also and scavenged for parts and worst of all the engine had never been modified at all.
So if you like to take your Viper somewhere where they will keep it for months, use it for parts for other Vipers, and then when its finally done having your good parts swapped off and replaced with "rebuilt" parts and had a used up motor shoved back into it then Hennessey is the place for you.
Try Tommy Archer instead or just be happy with the amount of power you alread have that you cant really handle anyway. Spend the money going to driving school instead, like Skip Barber and learn how to drive that Viper with what its got.

Ex viper owner here. Went a few months without a job a few years back and just couldn't justify keeping it.

I am starting to look around again and lucky for me, the prices have fallen a lot since I last looked. I am holding out for a Steel Grey 02 with silver stripes, or a Silver with blue stripes like my 99.

Hi everybody
I joined the forums yesterday. I live in south Louisiana. Drive an FE. It's my only vehicle, so my daily ride. Really quite well behaved in traffic and of course an amazing thrill on the open highway. Don't see many around these parts and certainly not FE. I think there is just 1 other in Louisiana, so the "cool" factor is huge.
