Because of the known Viper V10 engine. Personally when I think of Hemi, I think of rednecks. I don't want to be driving around in a redneck car [&o]

Viper needs to stay V10, no different than the Vette needs to stay V8. If they were to put a turbo 6 or a 10 in a Vette they would have revolting with the GM followers.

Getting the job done doesn't cut anything. That's like selling a kid a broken CD player. Getting it done appropriately with the original Viper's V10 is better. That's like selling a kid a quality, known CD player...both around the same price. =P

yeah i guess i understand that....well then they better pump up the viper engine and make the viper a little lighter....it just kills me that the vette is a little faster....ahh....
