Compression test

hello
we are doing compression test on dodge viper brand new engine zb1 and what i was reading standard psi is between 150-170
our engine is reading 240-290 psi on cold engine
anybody has any idea why?

we tried on different engine and readings were right
it looks like it has high compression pistons
