I am putting a Mopar performance Camshaft in a 04 Viper. Will the Cam come out the front of the block with out removing the engine? and the customer wants to know if 20 inch rims will fit on the 04 Viper? Any input will be good.

 

ok since i guess i'm new nobody wants reply. yes you must remove the trans first then the engine to replace the cam in a 04 Viper. I'll let everyone know how it goes when im finished. FUBAR!

 

I'm not a mechanic, but did make a post at the VCA about it a while ago and got no responses. Good luck on it

 

cam is in i just put the engine back in. getting close.

 

Well i finished it today Mopar Cam , Mopar engine controller, Mopar race exaust, puts her at 551 hp. Nice rumble no cats no down stream 02 sensor. Bad news for the customer no warante and wil not smog. Race track only. "yea right" Whos next just send an email.

 

Well i guess Ashanti 20 in rims will fit a Viper.
