It will be a while. Weather is crappy and is not going to be Viper weather for a while.

The car has very small blind spots, over all less than your average car and less than your Camaro, assuming you have a 93+. I had two Firebirds before my Viper, blind spots were worse.

My last GM....

Well I have a 94 Camaro So I guess thats cool. Im thinking by mid-summer I can start my Viper Hunting (Got 2 Jobs lined up and Some help from the Parents) Any ideas on what I should look for? I know of course ... Rust.... Scratches... But any minor things or major things as far as how It runs ect.? Also the side pipes do they rattle eventually (I knew somebody that had one of their car and it ended up cracking the whole frame open, it wasn';t a viper) My price range will prob. be about 30-40 Thousand. Thanks man

Only rust issue to look for is the side sills that covers the exhaust, and many do develop corrosion. Can be fixed by pulling them off and refinishing, not hard to do. To get a new set from DC is about $4000, so if they are beyond repair get aftermarket fiberglass sills.

For 30-40 it will be hard to get into a GEN II GTS, you can get into a RT10 96, maybe 97 GEN II. You can get a GEN I RT10 for anywhere from 28-40, but the 28 car is not going to have anything I mention here and will probably need it all.

If you get a GEN I make sure the head gaskets were done, just something you do not want to deal with.
If you happen to get a low mileage car with the original tires replace them, even if they have tred. They are dangerous.
Never give the car full throttle unless pointed straight.
If you get a GEN I replace the exhuast if stock. The CATS are VERY restritive in these cars. I was amazed when I took mine off and looked inside. Dyno has proven 20HP with this mod.
You need to modify the power steer cap. Not doing this will result in blowing the cap off on hard accelleration and a fire.
Find out of the clutch slave cylinder has been replaced if you are getting a GEN I or early GEN II. They are begining to fail in many cars now and to replace you have to drop the tranny.
Last and most important have a Viper tech check it out. He will cover all this stuff and more.

As I mentioned in another post there are a couple other sites that have far more resources than here, search you will find them.
