hey...im over ghere from teh dakota forum adn was looking for a full set of viper rims with tires. us dakota guys found out that they will fit thanks to the bolt pattern. if anyone has some they are wanting to sell or knows someone wanting to sell please let me know. i appriciate it.

 

Not sure where you heard they will fit, but from what I understand they will not. Viper wheels are 6 bolt pattern.

 

so are teh 02 dakotas. one guy already has them on his dak

 

Well if they fit, depending on what year you are looking for the used cost on EBay will be $1500 up to 4K. With the 4K rims being the newer SRT style. I gave $2800 for my rims, they were from a 02 and had the tires on them with 1K miles.

The other thing to keep in mind, the rears are 13" wide, you may want to opt for 4 fronts which are 11" wide.

 

I have a set of rims for sale but im in Florida... well i have 3 rims 4 tires.... missing one of the rear rims.... hit me up if your interested

 

this is all because the original Viper used the hubs from the Dakota 4x4 line and yes they will fit on a 4x4 but you can only use the front Viper wheels, the rears are too wide. I wanted to do this with some of the extra sets of Viper wheels that I have had but never got around to it and with the change in body styles of the Dakota I totally lost interest.
