Rear Drop is DONE!!!! In fact, just an FYI for anyone planning on doing a 2/4 drop, don't use the drop shackles that come in the kit. By not using them, and using the factory ones, I achieved a full 6 inches.....without notching the frame. I'm gonna post pics as soon as I get her cleaned up. I've only got about an inch and a half of clearance between the stock tire and the wheel well.

So, the front is gonna have to wait. I'm gonna use the drop springs that came with my kit, but I'm buying drop spindles as well. That way I'll have a 4/6 drop. Truck looks funny sittin the way it is. Looks like I'm running hydrolics. LOL.

So, once I post pics, I will rightfully redeem my #17 spot, thank you very much Mr. Prez. LOL.

The first four are obviously the new stance. LOL. That shiz is friggin low. Ha, now I gotta get drop spindles to go along with the drop springs. Then I'll have a 4/6 Drop. Friggin Awesome!!!!!

 

what it says v6 specific please. i do like twinks truck, your truck and derricks. i liked my v6 alot when i had it but i needed more room for the kiddos. no way to safely fit two toddlers an infant and myself in a RC. joe your drop id looking good so far. jusy try not to drive at night, voto

 

Thanks Bro. Yeah, haven't gotten flashed yet, had to drive it tonite. But, it's bad. My lowbeams are higher then my highbeams were before the drop. N if I turn on my highbeams......forget about it, they light up the trees. LOL.

IDK, if I am actually gonna go with drop spindles. Everybody is telling me it's a 6" drop in the rear, but for some reason i'm thinking that a 3" drop up front would almost, if not, level me out. Anyone know for sure?

yes yes yes.... joe you would be #28 and the truck is looking good not so bad of a job was it? now kick yourself for not doing it sooner....id put in what you have now and see how you like it and if not well then by all means buy spindles....maori you are member # 29 and welcome i know we all seen pics in the lowered tech section but we need some posted in here also. does anybody know if twink got his lowered?

 

id say so.. your lowered! and rawram... if your usin your stock shackles in the rear, without knotching the frame... wouldnt you bottom out like crazy?
