# 25 checkin in!!!!!!!! and with an update!

its still in primer i know.... but i got a roll pan welded on (minor muddwork to finish) and i'ma paint it red...

shaved tailgate w/plate box, still primered... but it'll be painted black.



i also didn't like how the grille stayed with the hood... so grille stay mod!



also, i gots door poppers. kit is installed... but handles have not been shaved yet. once i get the fillers welded in, i'ma do all the mudwork at once.... and i hate mudwork!!!!

i got another pic to upload soon... its on my phone and i'm at work so i can't really upload it right now... but i have a black cowl hood and grille inserts.

the black hood has made me wanna do a 2tone paint job... the black and red... should turn out decent... but this is the daily... and i've also got another truck... a straight project... heres a few teasers...

 

Also I got my HID"S in today All I need now is my projector housings and I will take some pictures of them. I will most likely order them Friday Along with new Tail light housings.. My Wife wants some on her truck But She has to pay for them. Yes I am being Cheap and I won't buy them for her....

 

also forgot to add.... i got new headlights for the red truck (whoop whoop) single piece halo headlights.... with HIDs! pics upon request!

but i don't have the new headlights on photobucket yet.... the hood and headlights are in my mobil uploads on facebook tho! so u can add me there if you would like to see them sooner!

haha i'm tryin to bro...

another thing i've got in the works (i'm planning and gettin the parts list for) is to go extremely low, static in the rear of the truck... level or slightly "cali" is what i'm goin for.

this will include an 8 piece step notch (notch frame to bottom of bed) djm 5in rear hanger kit (rears installed, gonna install front mounts sometime soon), 3in drop leafs (gotta look these up, but they help with ride quality), 3in drop blocks (already on truck- gonna get a new set of hangers tho), and i'ma need axle shims to get pinion correct.

the rear outta the wrecked 97 is gonna be the rear i get rebuilt. it'll be narrowed 6in... 3in on each side, and the longer axle cut down 6in and resplined... then when all put back together, i'll be able to tuck vertually any rim.

the rims are gonna be swapped from the chrome 18s to some 20in black/ machine lip rims... specifically american racing cartel rims. i got a set... but one broke in an accident in the white truck awhile ago. so the rear will tuck, and the front... i might have to flare the fenders a hair, but they'll support the rims. i might even narrow a set of stock arms to get them to tuck as well. the narrow would have to be 1.5in approx.

but let me get off here and get home.... once i get some more pics uploaded, i'll modify and post all the pics up so you can see current state and future state!
