I have a 2002 dakota 4.7 and the 4 wheel drive switch is lighted green as normal but when I move the switch to 4WH it blinks Orange for about 8 seconds and then go's back to solid Green in 2WD (no power to front wheels) I unpluged the wire going to the electric 4 wheel drive motor and have 12 volts? talking with 2 differand Dodge dealers I got @ different answers 1 said replace th e4 wheel drive module and the othert said replace the electric motor? any body know how I can prove what I need first before I spend the money on parts????
