That sounds like plenty, there is a real cool dual speed controller for about 80 dollars that I wish I would have used to start with. I used a basic and then direct wired the high speed on a switch.
With how often as you need high speed, I believe a switch would be fine.
You just have to keep an eye on the temp when you're in a really hilly area or towing.
I found this site and I believe I'm going to take the relay off my thunderbird for the high speed and do it like that guy did.
I'm also going to look into different fluid bottles so I can ditch the shroud. Advance has a coolant overflow bottle that I think I'm going to go with, I just need to find one for the washer fluid.
